Most Irish stories have at least two addresses: the place you are from and the place you went. Personalised Maps (formerly our Double Map) put 2-5 of those places on one print, each drawn as its own small map with the exact spot marked and a line of text underneath. A farmhouse in Clare next to a flat in London. A school in Drogheda next to a hospital in Sydney where the first grandchild was born. Together on one wall, they make sense of the distance.

You decide how many maps the print holds, anywhere from two to five. Couples choose the places they met, got engaged and married. Families choose every home they have lived in. Parents whose children have emigrated choose a map for each child’s new city and one for home. Someone returning to Ireland after years away chooses the two cities that shaped them. The layout adapts to the number of maps, so the print always looks balanced.

Every map is generated from real street data for the address you enter, so the recipient recognises the crossroads, the green and the church at a glance. Choose a circle, square or heart for each map, pick a colour scheme or set your own, and write a caption under every one: a date, a name, a word in Irish, whatever belongs there.

Anniversaries and weddings. Housewarmings and first homes. Going-away presents for someone leaving, and welcome-home presents for someone coming back. Christmas for parents, with all the places their children now live. In each case the print says something a bought gift cannot: I know your story.

Choose a style in the editor, add your addresses one by one and write the captions. The live preview shows the whole print as you go. Then order a poster, a framed poster, a canvas or a digital file to print locally. Prints ship to Ireland from nearby production partners, and the digital download arrives within minutes.
