Life in Canada rarely happens in one place. You meet in Montreal, move to Calgary for work, welcome a baby in Vancouver and spend every summer at the same lake in Ontario. Personalized Star Maps (formerly our Double Star Map) collect the real night sky from 2-5 of those moments on one print, so the dates and places that shaped your story sit next to each other instead of being scattered across a photo album.

Every panel is calculated from astronomical data for the exact time and coordinates you enter. Northern skies show the Big Dipper, Polaris and Orion where they actually stood; a panel from a trip south shows the Southern Cross instead. Choose a dark background with the Milky Way for drama, or a white, minimal design that fits a modern living room. Constellation lines and a grid are optional.

One star map remembers one night. Two to five let you tell the whole thing: how you met, how you got engaged, how you married. Parents choose a panel for each child’s birth. Families spread across provinces, or across the border, choose a sky for every home. You decide how many panels you need, and the print keeps its balance whether you pick two or five.

First, pick your colours and style. Second, type in each date, time and location and add a caption under every sky: a name, a date, a favourite line. Third, choose the format: poster, framed poster, canvas or a digital file to print at a local shop. The live preview shows the finished print before you order, and you can go back and change anything.

For an anniversary, a wedding, a new baby or the holidays, Personalized Star Maps are personal in a way that a store-bought present cannot be. They are produced close to you for faster delivery, and the digital download arrives by email if you need something today.
