Think of the nights that changed everything. The pub in Fitzroy where you first talked until closing. The beach at Noosa where the ring came out. The hospital in Brisbane at four in the morning. Star Moments (formerly our Triple Star Map) puts the actual night sky from 2-5 of those milestones on one print, in the order they happened, so your story hangs on the wall as a sequence rather than a single frame.

Each panel is generated from astronomical data for the exact time and place you enter. From anywhere in Australia or New Zealand that means the Southern Cross, the Pointers and the bright band of the Milky Way sit exactly where they were that night. A milestone that happened overseas simply shows that sky instead. The result is accurate enough for someone who knows the night sky, and beautiful enough for someone who does not.

Two milestones or five, it is up to you. Couples usually start with met, engaged and married. Add the night you moved into your first home together, or the birth of each child. Parents sometimes make a print just for the kids: one sky per birth, in order. Each panel gets a caption, so a name, a date or a line of a song sits under the right sky.

Pick a style first: deep navy, black, white or your own palette, with constellation lines and the Milky Way on or off. Then add each milestone with its date, time, place and caption. The live preview rebuilds the print every time you change something. When it looks right, choose a poster, a framed poster, a canvas or a digital file you can print at home or at a local shop.

Star Moments works for anniversaries, engagements, weddings, Christmas and milestone birthdays, and it suits parents and grandparents as much as couples. Prints are produced close to you to shorten delivery across Australia, and the digital download is in your inbox in minutes if the occasion is tomorrow.
